- On May 28, 2018, the Ministry of Energy of the Republic of Azerbaijan and Construction and Installation Company of the Republic of Turkey signed a Memorandum of Understanding on cooperation in the field of alternative and renewable energy.
- The memorandum was signed in the context of cooperation in the construction of renewable energy plants, installation and operation of renewable energy facilities.
- This document envisages the establishment of a joint Working Group to identify projects of mutual interest in the field of renewable energy, the activities of the Working Group on the implementation of selected projects, research in this area and the obligations of the parties.
