The 1st Azerbaijan-Turkey Energy Forum was co-chaired by Azerbaijani Energy Minister Parviz Shahbazov and Turkish Energy and Natural Resources Minister Fatih Donmez. The two-day forum was organized within the framework of the Joint Intergovernmental Commission on Economic Cooperation between Azerbaijan and Turkey to further strengthen strategic energy cooperation.

Tabriz Ammayev, Director of the Azerbaijan Renewable Energy Agency under the Ministry of Energy made a speech with presentation at the Forum. He stressed that Azerbaijan has a high potential in the field of renewable energy. He informed about the work done in our country in the relevant field, future projects, including the concept of "green energy" to be applied in our liberated territories. 

It should be noted that the 1st Energy Forum aims to expand existing energy cooperation between Azerbaijan and Turkey, assess new opportunities for cooperation and implement them through specific projects.
