Director of the Azerbaijan for Renewable Energy Agency under the Ministry of Energy of the Republic of Azerbaijan Tabriz Ammayev spoke at a joint briefing on current trends in renewable energy in Azerbaijan in cooperation with the German-Azerbaijani Chamber of Commerce (AHKAzerbaijan) and the Eastern Committee of the German Economy.

In his opening remarks at the online briefing, Tobias Baumann, Executive Director of the German-Azerbaijani Chamber of Commerce, spoke about renewable energy and other relations between the two countries.

Then the director of the State Agency T. Ammayev gave detailed information about the work done in the field of renewable energy in Azerbaijan. He noted that in recent years, significant work has been done on plans to expand the use of renewable energy sources in our country, significant results have been achieved in improving the legal framework, as well as in implementing pilot projects. The participants were informed about the achievements in the use of renewable energy sources in Azerbaijan and future plans.

At the end of the event, participants' questions were answered and opinions were exchanged.
