In accordance with the "Azerbaijan 2030: National priorities for socio-economic development", the next meeting of the sub-Working Group on the green energy zone, which was established in order to coordinate the activities of the relevant state bodies in connection with the preparation of the "Socio-economic development strategy for 2021-2025" was held .

At the meeting chaired by the Head of the sub-Working Group, Minister of Energy Parviz Shahbazov, it was noted that the part of the strategy project on the “green energy zone” developed by the sub-Working Group and the Action Plan were submitted to the Secretariat established in the Ministry of Economy and included in the overall project of the document by the Secretariat.

At the meeting, the presentation on the project of “Socio-economic development strategy for 2021-2025" was made, relevant paragraphs of the document were reviewed, the views of the group members were heard. In general, taking into account the latest proposals, the adoption of the strategy project by the sub-Working Group was considered expedient and the decision was made to submit the relevant opinion to the Secretariat.
