Kamran Huseynov, Deputy Director of the Azerbaijan Renewable Energy Agency (AREA) under the Ministry of Energy, participated in the 3rd Asia-Pacific Regulatory Forum on Power System Connectivity organized by the UN Economic and Social Commission for Asia and the Pacific (ESCAP).

Kamran Huseynov delivered a comprehensive speech on "Development of the renewable energy sector in the context of the regional power system connectivity" and emphasized projects are implemented in the framework of cooperation with foreign investors in the field of green energy in Azerbaijan. Furthermore, extensive information was given about the legislative framework in the current field, the green energy roods, as well as the possibilities of exporting green energy from Azerbaijan within the framework of the regional energy connectivity.
