Under the chairmanship of Minister of Energy Parviz Shahbazov, the next board meeting was held in the format of video-conference at the Ministry of Energy.

Chairman of the Board, Minister of Energy Parviz Shahbazov noted that the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Mr. Ilham Aliyev has implemented important reforms in the field of energy development, and stressed the importance of high-level, timely and high-quality implementation of the tasks and tasks set before the Ministry and subordinate bodies.

Then, in accordance with the agenda of the meeting, a presentation on the status of executive discipline and reviewing the citizen applications at the Ministry of Energy for the first half of 2023 was made. During the reporting period, statistical data on organization and citizen applications received by the Ministry were reviewed, discussions were held on the status of consideration of applications, issues on issuing permits, administrative offenses, as well as the status of the implementation of the tasks given in the work plan for 2023 for the 1st half of the year.

At the meeting, the status of implementation of the tasks arising from the relevant decrees and orders of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, the measures taken were reviewed and the work to be done was discussed.

At the end, the Chairman of the Board gave relevant instructions on the effective implementation of the forthcoming tasks, ensuring timely and complete implementation of documents, improving the mechanism of control over documents and execution discipline and other measures to be taken.
