Aygun Zeynalova, Deputy director of the Azerbaijan Renewable Energy Agency (AREA) under the Ministry of Energy, participated in the "Azerbaijan-US Green Energy Forum" on April 3, 2023.

Aygun Zeynalova made a presentation on "Long-term plans and current situation for the implementation of renewable and clean energy projects".

During his speech, the deputy director of the agency gave detailed information about the potential of renewable energy in the country, the legislative framework for renewable energy, the investment environment, the work done in this field, and current projects.

During the speech, the measures taken to export the green energy produced in Azerbaijan to the European market within the framework of the Agreement on strategic partnership in the field of green energy development and transmission signed between Azerbaijan, Georgia, Romania and Hungary were particularly emphasized.
