A new appointment has been made to the position of deputy director of the Azerbaijan Renewable Energy Agency (AREA) under the Ministry of Energy.
By the order of the Minister of Energy dated December 9, 2022, Aygun Zeynalova was appointed as the deputy director of the Azerbaijan Renewable Energy Agency under the Ministry of Energy. Previously, Aygun Zeynalova headed the project implementation and legal department of AREA.
Aygun Aftandil gizi Zeynalova was born in Baku. She graduated from Baku State University with honors in international law. She received a master's degree in European and International Law from the University of Strasbourg (France) within the framework of the "2007-2015 State Program for the Education of Azerbaijani Youth in Foreign Countries". She studied in a Master program at the College of Europe of the Kingdom of Belgium with a full scholarship from the European Union specializing in European Union law. Currently, she is continuing her studies in the master's program in international financial and commercial law at King's College London.
She started working as a lawyer at the Court of Justice of the European Union in the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg in 2012. She has experience as a corporate lawyer and head of legal in the private sector. She held various managerial positions in the Financial Monitoring Service of the Republic of Azerbaijan and other institutions.
She has been engaged in teaching since 2014. She knows English, French, Turkish, Russian, Dutch.
