Within the framework of the second phase of the "EU4Energy" program, an international conference called "Renewable Energy Investments" was held in Tbilisi, the capital of Georgia, jointly organized by the Regional Association of Energy Regulators of Georgia, the Council of European Energy Regulators and the National Energy and Water Supply Regulatory Commission of Georgia.
Members of the Azerbaijani delegation - Rana Humbatova, Head of the Hydrogen and green technologies department of the Azerbaijan Renewable Energy Agency under the Ministry of Energy, Aygun Zeynalova, Head of the Project work and legal department, Zibeyda Suleymanli, Head of the Human resources and administrative work sector, took part in the conference.
Speaking on the first day of the event, Aygun Zeynalova provided detailed information about renewable energy projects and investment climate in Azerbaijan in these areas.
On the second day of the conference, Rana Humbatova informed the audience about the advantages of investors by obtaining an "Investment Promotion Document" within the projects implemented in the direction of the implementation of green technologies, and at the same time, she also brought to the attention of the participants about the renewable energy tariffs.
In addition, representatives talked about the potential of renewable energy sources, solar and wind energy projects implemented in our country. Information about the high potential of our country, especially in offshore wind energy, and the plans for integrated implementation with green hydrogen production in the future, was brought to the attention of the conference participants. Information about the measures implemented regarding a green energy zone in the liberated territories was brought to attention.
At the conference attended by representatives of various countries and companies, the presentations of Azerbaijani specialists were met with great interest. The Azerbaijani delegation held a number of meetings and exchanged views within the framework of the event.
