Online training on Fight Against Corruption was held

The Ministry of Energy and the Government and Civil Society Dialogue Platform on Promoting Open Government jointly organized an online training on Fight Against Corruption, the formation of an anti-corruption behavior model.

The importance of further increasing transparency in the activities of government agencies, preventing cases of corruption and ensuring the continuity of measures to combat it was discussed at the training. Information was given on the “2022-2026 National Action Plan to Strengthen the Fight Against Corruption.” The importance of increasing the theoretical knowledge of employees on the creation of an anti-corruption behavior model and the formation of an anti-corruption culture was emphasized.

Then, President of the “Constitution” Research Fund, Coordinator of the Open Government Platform Alimammad Nuriyev made a presentation on Corruption related offenses and responsibility for these offenses". Detailed information on the concept of corruption, legislation in this area, types and subjects of offenses, circumstances conducive to corruption, prevention of relevant cases, the concept of an official and other topics was provided. Responsibility for corruption related offenses, ones providing information about these offenses and measures taken to protect them were discussed. Information on the prevention and elimination of consequences of conflicts of interest in the activities of civil servants and other officials, non-possibility of joint work of close relatives and other cases was brought to the attention.

At the end of the event, in which the employees of the Ministry of Energy, AERA and AREA under the Ministry attended, interactive exchange of views was held on the subject and questions were answered.
