On March 1, Baku will host the 10th Ministerial Meeting of the Southern Gas Corridor Advisory Council and the 2nd Ministerial Meeting of the Green Energy Advisory Council.
The meeting will be attended by 23 countries, including Azerbaijan and the European Union, 6 international organizations and 44 companies. Ministers, deputy ministers and other high-level representatives will participate in the event.
After the opening session, the meeting will continue with plenary sessions on Ministerial session on the Southern Gas Corridor and Green Energy, Southern Gas Corridor session: future vision and Green energy session in the background of COP 29: using renewable energy opportunities.
Also, within the Advisory Council, the 6th Ministerial Meeting and the Azerbaijan-European Union Roundtable on development of offshore wind energy will be held in order to implement the Agreement on Strategic Partnership in the Development and Transmission of Green Energy between the Governments of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Georgia, Romania and Hungary.
During the event, it is planned to sign documents in the field of green energy.
At the end of the event, a press conference will be held on the results of the 10th ministerial meeting within the Southern Gas Corridor Advisory Council and the 2nd ministerial meeting within the Green Energy Advisory Council.
It should be reminded that the ministerial meeting within the Southern Gas Corridor Advisory Council has been held since February 2015 and this year marks the 10th anniversary of the event.
