A meeting was held at the Ministry of Energy with a delegation led by Arturs Smilkstins, the Executive Director of Boston Consulting Group (BCG) in connection with the drafting the National Plan on Electromobility.

In the meeting, the cooperation issues with the Boston Consulting Group were discussed within the framework of the drafting the National Plan for Electromobility in accordance with the Socio-Economic Development Strategy of the Republic of Azerbaijan for 2022-2026. Development trends in this area, international experience were reviewed. The initial approach and views of the company on the preparation of the electromobility plan were brought to the attention. The sides exchanged views on the creation of a charging infrastructure for the widespread distribution of electric vehicles, the impact of this process on energy demand, the application of electromobility for the development of liberated territories and Nakhchivan in the concept of green energy zone, as well as the terms of references for the drafting the electromobility plan in our country.
