On December 7, the seminar on "The importance of geothermal energy and its contribution to economic development" was held with the initiative of the Working Group on "Renewable energy use and energy efficiency" within the framework of the Azerbaijan-Türkiye Energy Forum.

Dr. Alper Baba, the professor of Izmir Institute of High Technology provided detailed information about the role of geothermal energy in the production of renewable energy in the world, its impact on economic development, technological advances and other related issues.
